Chain Cult

Handmade chainmail jewelry by Meri

Chain Cult brings a distinct material language into RARE: chainmail jewelry and body adornment made slowly, by hand, with a strong focus on inclusivity, durability, and tactile design.

Based between Berlin and Madrid, Meri uses traditional chainmail techniques to create contemporary wearable pieces that range from necklaces and bracelets to belts, boot chains, pants chains, armor tops, and body accessories.

The work centers on high-quality, cruelty-free materials chosen for comfort, resistance, and longevity. Chain Cult frames jewelry not as decoration alone, but as something lived in: skin-friendly, expressive, and durable enough for everyday wear.

Chain Cult’s public product and authenticity information highlights stainless steel as a signature material, chosen for its strength, rust resistance, and skin compatibility. The brand’s approach is clean and direct: thoughtful making, honest materials, and pieces meant to last.

At RARE, Chain Cult expands the collective beyond clothing into jewelry and wearable hardware with a strong independent voice. It adds another Berlin perspective on craft, body, and sustainability, while remaining fully aligned with the store’s focus on responsible, artist-led design.
